Charming - has all you need!

Date of Stay:

This is a rustic and charming cottage with many great features. We were very comfortable; the kitchen is well equipped, and we ate our meals in the dining room which faced out onto the beautiful Stewart Lake. We were provided everything we required for our stay (including linens, towels, and appliances). The rooms are fairly small but this was clearly shown in the pictures and video the cottage was presented accurately in the description as well. The dock is one of the best features with perfect exposure --especially for the sunsets. This is a prime Muskoka location and the town of MacTier has everything you need close by. Ross and Mary-Rose (as well as their team) were very attentive and responded fast with any issues we encountered. Overall, the cottage is priced within range given the location. If you are looking for a Muskoka trip without the price tag, this is the cottage for you! We had a great family vacation at Witnorth Cottage. Well worth it!

Definitely consider again!

Will definitely consider again for our family vacation

Cozy Cottage

Date of Stay:

This is a good place to visit for a no-frills, cozy cottage. The outdoor dock is a lovely place to sit in the sun all day, and the lake itself is great for swimming. We had a good time using the canoe. Inside there is a wood-burning stove that kept us cozy even though it rained a lot on our visit. Loved all the games available. The screened-in deck is a good place to enjoy the outdoors without the bugs!
